Cheese Supervisor

Responsibilities

 

This position is responsible for ensuring all store cheese cases are stocked and clean during business hours. They will assist customers as needed and step in when problems escalate beyond the clerk level. Ensures creative presentation, accuracy of promotional signage and an abundant variety and selection of product. They must ensure proper rotation and quality of cheese products being sold; especially expired stock. Oversees the cleaning of the cheese cases and olive bar. They will maintain a friendly, energetic demeanor at all times.
Position Requirements

 

Must have previous experience working in a Cheese department in a healthy grocery retail environment with prior knowledge of cheese products. Requires the highest level of customer service at all times. Must have the ability to work in high volume conditions with excellent attention to detail. Must have expert knowledge of the Sunflower cheese program and the cheeses offered - domestic, shredded, imported and packaged. Requires expert skills working with cheese knives and wires. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
