Part-Time Floral Clerk

Summary

To provide exceptional service to our customers in the Produce/Floral Department. Proper performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position will contribute to and enhance our Floral Department conditions. Responsible for maintaining standards and maximizing sales through excellent customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Provide proper care and handling of all merchandise
· Ensure cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, rotation, quality, ordering, variety, signage, and superior customer service
· Responsible for ordering and inventory control
· Ensure the highest quality of floral products are available to the customer
· Ensure proper backroom and paperwork procedures are followed
· Perform all other related duties as assigned by management
· Responsible for the sales and profitability in the department
· Ensure appropriate signage
· Conduct weekly department inventories and report financial information
· Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements

· Previous Floral experience preferred.
· Applicant must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
· Position may require long periods of time standing.
